Kirke is a Policy Assistant on Green Buildings in Bellona Europa, working on topics related to embodied carbon, decarbonisation of the built environment, green construction products, electrification of construction sites and green public procurement. Currently, she is also part of the project team of PURE – Power Up a REnewable society, which aims to scale up the impact of Oslo’s zero emission construction work and energytransition to cities in the EU. Prior to Bellona, she gained experience in EU policies and communication at the European Parliament and obtained a master's degree in Social Challenges, Policies & Interventions.

I studied mechanical engineering and did my PhD with the topic “Emission Models for Heavy Duty Vehicles” at Graz University of Technology. Since 2020 I am team leader for measurement and simulation of heavy duty vehicles and NRMM in the Department of Emissions Research of Forschungsgesellschaft für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen und Thermodynamik mbH, a spin-off company and cooperation partner of the Institute of Thermodynamics and Sustainable Propulsion Systems (ITnA, formerly IVT), at Graz University of Technology. My working topics are technical advisor to the EU Commission on Euro 7 in the CLOVE consortium, project manager for the Handbook Emission Factors for road transport (HBEFA), project manager in many heavy duty vehicle and non-road mobile machinery projects and supervisor of many bachelor and master theses.

In 2018 I began working alongside my studies as a sales engineer in the area of gas and dust explosion protection equipment for (un-)loading operations with flammable liquids and powders which I continued until the end of 2022, the same year I graduated with a master’s degree in Sales and Marketing from Wismar University of Applied Sciences. In February 2023, I started my current job as Sales Engineer at Jungheinrich Powertrain Solutions.

Christoph Heidt has been working at the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research Heidelberg gGmbH (ifeu) since 2011.
Since 2023, he has been leading the Team Emissions modelling in ifeu’s mobility department. His work focuses on the modelling of greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions from all means of transport, with a focus on road traffic and Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM).
He is responsible for the further development of the German Transport Emission Model (TREMOD). In addition to research for German authorities and ministries, he is also active in international committees (e.g. ERMES Group) and projects.
Before his time at ifeu, he studied geoecology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and earned a degree in geoecology there in 2011.

Dr. Wilfried Aulbur is a Senior Partner of Roland Berger LP. He is responsible for the firm's global Commercial Vehicle, Construction and Agricultural business and co-leads the global Capital Goods practice. Wilfried is based in Chicago and works across Automotive, Industrials and Private Equity.
His work concentrates on strategy and growth, technology strategy and operational performance improvement.
Previously, he was the Managing Partner of Roland Berger in India, a practice that he continues to support in the Automotive and Industrials space.
Wilfried was the head of Roland Berger's Asia Automotive practice as well as the Chairman of Roland Berger Middle East and Africa and served on the firm's global supervisory board.
Prior to his work with Roland Berger, Wilfried served in various management positions for Daimler across the US, Germany and India.
Among others, he was the Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India and responsible for passenger cars, trucks and buses, he was the Chief of Staff for the CEO of Mercedes-Benz Cars, and he built up the Mercedes-Benz Engineering Center in India which today has more than 14000 engineers.

The electrification of non-road mobile equipment (NRMM) is becoming more popular. Non-Road Mobile Machinery Electrification and Hybridization Forum discusses the potential of electric and hybrid powertrains in several NRMM industries, as well as the constraints that may impede their growth. The NRMM sectors, vehicle types, operation and duty cycle cycles, and market shares are all detailed. The normal duty cycles and operation of on-road and off-road vehicles are compared in order to get insight into the unique characteristics of off-road vehicles. Discussions in Non-Road Mobile Machinery Electrification and Decarbonization Forum will cover details on hybridization which entails combining an internal combustion engine (diesel or gasoline) with a second engine, either electric or hydraulic. This can take the form of a generator, which, when linked to the engine, gives electrical energy to various machine components. This generator is then linked to batteries, which store and deliver the electrical energy. It may also entail directly energizing certain components such as hydraulic systems.
Electrification - Zero Emission, Unlike hybridization, this method eliminates the need for an internal combustion engine entirely.
