The agricultural sector relies heavily on synthetic polymers for protection, water conservation, and yield optimization, but this dependency has created a significant environmental burden from plastic waste accumulation. The adoption of bioplastics in agriculture directly addresses the challenges of labor, contamination, and environmental persistence inherent in petroleum-based plastics.
