The European Union has set a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030, and the transportation sector, which is responsible for a quarter of Europe's emissions, will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.
One of the most promising Future Fuels in Europe is hydrogen, which can be produced from renewable energy sources and used in fuel cells to power electric vehicles. Hydrogen is a zero-emission fuel that can be produced locally, offering energy independence and security of supply.
