3rd Edition Green Hydrogen Forum

Green hydrogen is the future we've ever longed for.

You've probably heard about Climate Change and its negative effect on all living things and the Earth in general. You'd agree with me that there are several factors influencing and increasing the amount of Carbon day by day with a man being the principal factor. You'd also agree with me that it is possible to tap energy without the emission of carbon. Let me take you on a journey that'd illuminate your mind and give you insights into how the use of Carbon can be greatly reduced and replaced by Green Hydrogen, which is the future.

What is Green Hydrogen?

Green hydrogen, also known as low-carbon or renewable hydrogen is produced, on a large scale, using electrolysis powered by renewable electricity sources. It emits no carbon emissions and is a form of clean energy production.

Hydrogen has the potential to transition the global energy system into a lower carbon future. This element is present in abundant quantities in the form of water but does not exist naturally as a single element on earth. It is extracted by having electricity power the splitting of water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen particles, which can then be transported long distances through pipes or applied to fuel cells, generating usable electricity. The process is known as Electrolysis.

Green hydrogen could make a major contribution to global decarburization through its widespread adoption as an energy carrier across industrial sectors and mobility services. This report identifies the key challenges in green hydrogen’s path to wide-scale commercialization, highlights emerging applications developed by businesses to date, and proposes forward-looking pathways to enable future deployment and cost reductions of the technology. The transition to green hydrogen could provide $11 trillion of infrastructure investment opportunities over the next 30 years making a global business focus.

We invite you to join us at our next forum as you'll learn from experts from different sectors in the industry who will share their vision of this sector and its potential for a greener world and also explore ways to develop markets and secure investment for green hydrogen technologies, as well as new opportunities for industrial uses.
