Hydrogen isn’t just an exciting tool of the present…it’s also bringing a brighter future to the energy market but when it’s produced by combusting fossil fuels or collected from biogas, there’s no future in it. On the other hand, when hydrogen is produced from water using renewable energy sources such as solar and wind, it could be a very bright idea indeed.
In the coming years, many industrial processes that use other forms of hydrogen such as grey, blue, and pink will be replaced provided CO2 is adequately decarbonized and priced so that other processes of decarbonization can be put in place.
